Since i’ts been a while a tutorial for the little ones was post, here’s another one.

This time it’s a sports car tutorial for preschoolers. I guess that’s the big boys over at kindergarten.

This is a super-duper easy, super-duper cool sports car step by step tutorial.

First draw the ground and the wheels.

Now, draw the body starting from the lower part, the lower it is to the ground the cooler it looks. Then, continue with the upper side, notice that the front part (pointing to the left) is lower than the rear part. This is because it give a sence of forward movement to the car. Take a look at pictures of sports cars and you’ll see this pattern in all of them.

The third step is to draw the cabin or canopy, as some people call it. This is just a curved line on top of the body.

The fourth step is to draw the windshield, the side window and the door.

Almost done.

Now pay attention, this gets a bit busy with some details:

Draw the front grill on front bumper and above that draw the headlight.

Draw also a circle inside the wheels, these will be the rims.

After that draw the tail light at the back and just beneath draw a crazy exhaust tip.

The final step is to draw the smaller details like the lamp in the headlight, the spokes in the rims, the door handle, a big wing at the back, and since this is a mid-engine sports car, draw an air intake bellow the door.
